**Charts showing Standards of Learning (SOL) Mathematics and Reading achievement gaps between white, African-American and Hispanic students.**

In Mathematics, for 2014-2015, the percentage of white students passing SOL mathematics tests was 85 percent, the percentage of Hispanic students passing SOL mathematics tests was 73 percent, and the percentage of black students passing SOL mathematics tests was 67 percent.

Mathematics achievement gaps for three previous years are as follows:

In 2013-2014, white students pass rate was 80 percent, Hispanic students pass rate was 67 percent, black students pass rate was 60 percent.

In 2012-2013, white students pass rate was 77 percent, Hispanic students pass rate was 64 percent, black students pass rate was 55 percent.

In 2011-2012, white students pass rate was 75 percent, Hispanic students pass rate was 61 percent, black students pass rate was 52 percent.

In Reading for 2014-2015, the percentage of white students passing SOL reading tests was 86 percent, the percentage of Hispanic students passing SOL reading tests was 71 percent, and the percentage of black students passing SOL reading tests was 65 percent.

Reading achievement gaps for two previous years are as follows:

In 2012-2013 and in 2013-2014, white students pass rate was 82 percent, Hispanic students pass rate was 65 percent, black students pass rate was 59 percent.
