Revisions to 2017-2018 Title I, Part A, and Title I, Part D, Subpart 2, Allocations under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965
This communication is to inform you of a revision to the 2017-2018 Title I, Part A, and Title I, Part D, Subpart 2, allocations that were released through Superintendent’s Memorandum 264-17, dated September 8, 2017. The 2017-2018 funding allocations were revised because PL 115-56, the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2018 and Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Requirements Act, 2017, includes a 0.6791 percent reduction in the amount of funds provided through PL 115-31 that is in effect during the duration of the Act. The reduction also incorporates corrections submitted by Virginia to state per-pupil expenditure data. The reduction applies to the portion of Title I funds that became available on October 1, 2017.
Attachment A contains the revised 2017-2018 allocations for all school divisions. An amendment to the 2017-2018 application and a budget transfer must be submitted through the OMEGA system.
